Is FamApp an NPCI-listed UPI app?
Yes. NPCI listed FamApp by Trio in its UPI PPI applications roster when checked on 4 October 2026.
How do I install and sign up for FamApp?
Open the official install or signup link on this page, verify the developer name, register with the mobile number linked to your bank, select the bank account, and create or confirm the UPI PIN. Never enter a UPI PIN merely to receive money.
Does FamApp need a bank account?
FamApp is listed as a PPI or wallet app. A wallet-funded payment may not need a linked bank account, while ordinary bank-account UPI does. Check the live onboarding screen for the exact route available to you.
Which banks and UPI handles does FamApp use?
The PSP bank or banks on file are Yes Bank. Handles on file include @yesfam, @fam.
Does FamApp give cashback or rewards?
No stable cashback rate is verified for FamApp. Any scratch card, coupon, coin or campaign shown in the app can change and should not be treated as a guaranteed return on every UPI payment. Pick FamApp only if it is convenient for the payments you actually make.
Does FamApp charge for UPI payments?
No app-use fee is verified in this record. Ordinary bank-account UPI payments are usually free to the customer, but card bills, wallet loading, credit products and other services can have separate fees. Check the confirmation screen before paying.

There is no single verified FamApp limit in this record. The effective limit can depend on your bank, transaction type, beneficiary cooling period and the app's risk controls. Your bank and the live payment screen are the final sources.
Should I use FamApp only for rewards?
No. Use FamApp if it makes everyday UPI easier to check later: merchant payments, transfers, bills, recharges, bookings, transaction history, UPI reference IDs, reversals and support. UPI rewards are usually temporary and capped. For rewards and cashback, credit cards are normally the better product.
Is FamApp safe?
FamApp should be installed only from the official link or a verified app-store listing. Check the developer, never share an OTP or UPI PIN, and remember that a UPI PIN authorises money leaving your account—it is not needed to receive money.
What should I do if a FamApp payment fails but money is deducted?
Do not pay again immediately. Open the transaction, save the UPI reference, amount and time, check the bank account for a reversal, and raise a complaint inside FamApp if it does not reverse within the stated period. You can also use NPCI's official UPI Help service.
