  2. Register with the mobile number linked to your bank account.
  3. Select the bank, allow the verification SMS, and choose the account.

The questions

What Kiwi can keep in one transaction trail.

Yes means that payment is supported. The goal is to keep most UPI payments easy to check later: status, reference ID, reversal and dispute path. Cashback is shown only as context.

Questions people ask

Kiwi FAQs

What is Kiwi?

The published cashback is on Kiwi’s RuPay credit card used over UPI, not on a plain bank debit. Official page says 1.5% flat, and up to 5% with paid Neon membership.

Is Kiwi an NPCI-listed UPI app?

Yes. NPCI listed Kiwi in its UPI third-party applications roster when checked on 4 October 2026.

How do I install and sign up for Kiwi?

Open the official install or signup link on this page, verify the developer name, register with the mobile number linked to your bank, select the bank account, and create or confirm the UPI PIN. Never enter a UPI PIN merely to receive money.

Does Kiwi need a bank account?

Ordinary UPI registration normally needs an Indian bank account and the mobile number registered with that bank. This catalogue has not verified a bank-free route for Kiwi.

Which banks and UPI handles does Kiwi use?

The PSP bank or banks on file are Axis Bank. Handles on file include @goaxb.

Does Kiwi give cashback or rewards?

1.5% flat on scan and pay; up to 5% with Kiwi Neon. No complete cap is on file, so read the live offer terms before counting the reward. Treat this as a bonus, not the main reason to use Kiwi. For meaningful rewards and cashback, compare credit cards instead.

Does Kiwi charge for UPI payments?

No app-use fee is verified in this record. Ordinary bank-account UPI payments are usually free to the customer, but card bills, wallet loading, credit products and other services can have separate fees. Check the confirmation screen before paying.

What is the daily UPI limit on Kiwi?

There is no single verified Kiwi limit in this record. The effective limit can depend on your bank, transaction type, beneficiary cooling period and the app's risk controls. Your bank and the live payment screen are the final sources.

Should I use Kiwi only for rewards?

No. Use Kiwi if it makes everyday UPI easier to check later: merchant payments, transfers, bills, recharges, bookings, transaction history, UPI reference IDs, reversals and support. UPI rewards are usually temporary and capped. For rewards and cashback, credit cards are normally the better product.

Is Kiwi safe?

Kiwi should be installed only from the official link or a verified app-store listing. Check the developer, never share an OTP or UPI PIN, and remember that a UPI PIN authorises money leaving your account—it is not needed to receive money.

What should I do if a Kiwi payment fails but money is deducted?

Do not pay again immediately. Open the transaction, save the UPI reference, amount and time, check the bank account for a reversal, and raise a complaint inside Kiwi if it does not reverse within the stated period. You can also use NPCI's official UPI Help service.
